This exhibition spotlights the unique place held by Philippe Thomas on the art scene of the 1980s and 1990s. It is also the opportunity to dedicate the entire museum space to an artist whose work has been present there since it first opened.

Music in Summer

Music in Summer is a festival organized by the city of Geneva. During the entire summer, more than thirty concerts will take place in outdoors places such as Cour de l’Hôtel de Ville and Ella Fitzgerald stage in Parc de La Grange. This festival propose classical, jazz and world music with more than 350 artists from here and there.

Japanese Buddhist textiles

The Baur Foundation is exhibiting for the first time the Japanese Buddhist textiles dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. The collection consist of textiles used to cover altars in the temples. These cloths are evidence both of the religious beliefs of the time and of the skill of the Kyoto weavers.

Museums at night 2014

Around thirty museums are taking part in the programme, offering visits, workshops, film screenings and many other activities to transport both young and not so young into an astonishing night-time world on Saturday and for a day rich in discoveries on the Sunday.
